1.Learning English makes me more friendly. When foreigners come to Taiwan, we can help them, let people know that taiwanese are very friendly and willing to help others. And also, that's a chance to practice English, so it also makes me willing to take risks.
2.It makes me less critical of how people speak my native languages, because Chinese and Taiwanses are really difficult. And also because it's not their mother language, so have accent or can't not speak it well, that's okay. But I'll try to encourage them, and will be willing to help if they asked me.
3.It makes me more tolerant of other cultures. Learning English also makes me know more about American culture and British culture little by little. And I think westen culture is really quite different from ours, so that makes me can accept other cultures more.
4.Yes. As I said, westen culture are very different from ours, so different culture people will have different thoughts, and different behavior. So when we start to know other culture then our understanding or opinion of that will also change.
